Thighs liposuction

The liposuction of the upper thighs helps against "saddle bags"

Fat deposits in the outer side of the upper thighs (commonly referred to as "saddle bags") may limit women in their choices of clothes. Pants are often too tight on the thighs and too wide for the lower thighs.

But even the inner side of the upper thighs may sometimes be too large and impair normal activities, such as walking or sports.

A liposuction of the upper thighs may have a significant positive influence on the silhouette. The new body feeling gives more self-assurance in daily life.

Generally, unhealthy meals and too few sports activities are the most common causes of "saddle bags". But even body changes during puberty may have a negative effect on the shape of the upper thighs.

A liposuction may be a good solution if the medical preconditions are fulfilled, which means a healthy patient with good skin quality.

With a liposuction procedure, the aesthetically unpleasant fat deposits on the upper thighs of the patient may be reduced and the contours of the legs newly shaped.

The procedure of a liposuction of the upper thighs

In a liposuction procedure, Dr. Colette Carmen Camenisch injects at first a saline solution with lidocaine and adrenaline (tumescent technique) in the treated areas. After a short exposure time, the fat deposits in excess are aspirated with a special device; first, the device achieves a negative pressure, then the fat is aspirated through cannulae. The treated areas build together a new and harmonious look of the legs.
