Crow's feet

As we grow older – but sometimes even at a young age – unsightly wrinkles appear around the eyes. These fine, radial wrinkles grow deeper over the years. At a certain point, they become nearly impossible to treat, as they are ingrained deep into the skin – like scars. As a result, the eyes appear smaller.

When treating crow's feet in the eye area, Dr. Colette Carmen Camenisch uses injections to relax the muscles under the skin. Just a few days after the treatment, you will look young, fresh and attractive again.

The regular contraction (blinking) of the circular eye muscle (“orbicularis oculi muscle”) creates deep expression lines over time. However, these eye wrinkles can be effectively treated: by means of an injection, the muscle underneath can relax, releasing tension from the overlying skin. The deep radial wrinkles on the sides of the eyes disappear and you look much friendlier again, making the entire face look fresher and more youthful.

Fresh and attractive

The effect of injection for crow's feet lasts three to six months. Depending on your skin condition, Dr. Colette Carmen Camenisch may use an injection to relax the corresponding muscle compartments of the eye muscle so that the overlying skin appears less wrinkled.

This treatment can be combined with treatments for frown lines and forehead wrinkles, giving you an even better result. However, filler treatments in the midface area (cheek) or Skinbooster therapy in the eye area can also further enhance the positive effect. Your eyes will look even more radiant when filling the tear trough at the same time.

After an eyelid lift, it is also recommended to treat crow's feet to boost the rejuvenating effects.
