A deep nasolabial fold results in an extreme, sad-looking sagging around the mouth. With a hyaluronic acid filler treatment, Dr. Colette C. Camenisch reduces the annoying wrinkles and compensates for dwindling subcutaneous fatty tissue. This significantly reduces the wrinkle between the mouth and nose. When treating the nasolabial fold, hyaluronic acid is carefully injected under the fold; by using a special technique (rounded cannula), side effects such as bruises can be significantly reduced. In order to correct the area around the mouth even better, we recommend that you also correct drooping mouth corners, if necessary, leading to an even more impressive result.
Approximately two weeks after filling the nasolabial fold, we offer a follow-up for reassessment; this allows for any minor irregularities and missing volume to be corrected.
