Hand rejuvenation with fat transfer

Hand rejuvenation thanks to fat transfer

For most of the time, our hands are not protected, therefore, they suffer from several environmental factors such as the sun, the wind and the cold. And the passing of the years will also leave traces behind. A hand rejuvenation with fat transfer will give back the lost volume and guarantee beautiful hands with fewer wrinkles.

In ancient times, aristocrats were recognized by their well-kept hands. In medieval times, manicured hands were the unmistakable sign of someone who belonged to the upper class. And still to this day, beautiful hands are the first demonstration of a well-groomed appearance.

A hand rejuvenation with fat transfer brings back volume and guarantees a smooth texture of the skin. Dr. Colette Carmen Camenisch retrieves the fat from the abdomen, the hips or the knee. Subsequently, the fat is prepared in a special process and then injected in the back of the hand.

The patient's own fat will guarantee beautiful hands

Since the hands are rarely protected from external factors, unlike other body parts, they suffer terribly from the sun, wind, and cold. Household chores and work in the garden will also leave more and more significant signs with time.

A hand rejuvenation with fat transfer is a small procedure. Similarly to a facial rejuvenation with fat transfer, the aspirated fat will replace the volume lost. Moreover, the adipose cells will guarantee a beautiful, uniform and smooth skin texture.
