Liposuction

A beautiful silhouette thanks to liposuction

Aesthetically unpleasant fat deposits to the abdomen, hips, upper thighs, knees, and calves can be a stressful impairment to everyday life. If neither sports nor strict dieting helps again the fat deposits, a liposuction will guarantee a beautiful and harmonious body shape.

We will gladly answer any questions you may have about liposuction. You may schedule an appointment at Clinic Beethovenstrasse in Zurich, by calling us at the telephone number 044 545 14 44.

With a liposuction, body-conscious, athletic patients of normal weight may target specific fat deposits. For example on the hips, the knees, the upper and lower abdomen, and, if applicable, the calves.

The fat deposits to the outer sides of the upper thighs, the so-called "saddlebags", may also be quickly and easily brought back into shape.

To achieve the desired results with a liposuction, the skin must be elastic. Only if the skin can sufficiently shrink back will it be able to adjust to the new contours.

The procedure of a liposuction

For a liposuction procedure, Dr. Colette Carmen Camenisch injects at first a saline solution with lidocaine and adrenalin (tumescent technique) in the treated area. After a short exposure time, the subcutaneous fat in excess is aspirated by a special device. The device first achieves a negative pressure, then aspirates the fat through cannulae. The treated areas will work together beautifully to achieve a harmonious figure.
